A rare pearlware platter, decorated with the façade of the Masonic Institution for Girls, St. George's Fields, Southwark also known as the Freemasons' Tavern with Masonic symbols border.

Built in the late 18thC to house the orphaned daughters of Freemasons.

The platter is 19 inches in length. It has a combed back.

Rare small oval platter "Vauxhall Gardens".

Vauxhall was a famous pleasure garden on the south side of the river Thames. It opened in the< mid 17thC. The rotunda depicted was an orchestral stand built in 1743. The garden was closed in 1859.

Some minor condition issues on this very tare platter. 11.5 x 8 inches.
